Jinan is located in the central part of Shandong Province, bordered by Mount Tai in the south and the Yellow River in the north, on the junction zone between the low hills and hills in central and southern Shandong and the alluvial plain in northwest Shandong. Jinan is a famous historical and cultural city announced by the State Council. 

It is named because it is located south of "Jishui", one of the ancient four rivers (the old road is occupied by the current Yellow River). Jinan is the capital of Shandong Province, a major economic and cultural province on the east coast of China, the political, economic, cultural, technological, technological, educational and financial center of the province, and an important transportation hub. It is surrounded by Dezhou, Binzhou, Zibo, Tai'an, Liaocheng and other cities. The rivers in Jinan belong to the three major river systems: the Yellow River, the Huai River and the Hai River. The lakes include Nha Trang Lake, Daming Lake, Bai Yun Lake, etc. There are many springs in the northern foothills of the mountainous area, and there are four major spring groups in the urban area alone: Baotu Spring, Black Tiger Spring, Wulong Pond and Pearl Spring.
